Biography

Timothy Burke, PhD, received his Doctorate in Pharmacology from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. During his post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan, he studied behavioral pharmacology and neuropharmacology. He then joined the Pharmacology and Toxicology faculty of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, continuing to study neuropharmacology. He has been at Astra Zeneca (and legacy companies) for 31 years, all in Medical Affairs in various roles and therapeutic areas. For the past 15 years, he has supported the Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic area where he is currently an Executive Medical Science Liaison residing in the New Orleans area.
