Biography

Dr. Camacho’s work focuses on osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases. She has published numerous papers on these topics, and most recently she was the first author of the 2020 AACE/ACE Postmenopausal Osteoporosis Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines. She has published 4 books in endocrinology and is actively engaged in training future endocrinologists as the program director for the Loyola Endocrinology Fellowship Program. She is also a Past President of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
