Biography

Professor of Pediatrics Bernard and Miller Duker Children’s Hospital Albany Medical Center Albany, NY Melinda B Clark, MD, MJ, is a professor of pediatrics at the Bernard and Miller Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. After completing her medical degree and pediatric residency at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, Dr Clark went on to obtain her Master of Jurisprudence from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Dr Clark’s many clinical interests include a multidisciplinary approach to oral health and family education, with articles on the topics published in peer-review journals such as The Journal of American Dentistry, Journal of Child Neurology, and Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, Dr Clark is a manuscript reviewer for Academic Medicine, Pediatrics, and JAMA Pediatrics. Dr Clark sits on the National Interprofessional Initiative on Oral Health Board of Directors and the National Interprofessional Initiatice on Oral Health Executive Board. She is also a member of the American Pediatric Society, US National Oral Health Alliance, Academic Pediatric Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
