Biography

Dr. Amy Clouse, MD is an academic family physician who teaches residents and medical students and cares for patients of all ages in her role as Associate Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Abington – Jefferson Health. She is also Clinical Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and is board certified in both family medicine and adolescent medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, her medical degree from Drexel University and completed her residency at the Virtua Family Medicine Residency in New Jersey. Dr. Clouse has edited two books: Women’s Health in Clinical Practice and Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Primary Care and has written numerous book chapters and articles. She has lectured to both large and small audiences on a variety of topics including contraception, obesity and sexually transmitted infections.
