Biography

Dr. El Sahly is a Professor of Molecular Virology and Microbiology and Medicine, Infectious diseases at Baylor College of Medicine. She currently serves as the Principal Investigator of the NIH-supported Vaccine and Treatment unit at Baylor. Her research focuses on clinical development of vaccines and therapeutics against pathogens of public health importance. She chairs the FDA’s Vaccine and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.
