Biography

Michael Fordis, MD is the Senior Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education and founding director of the Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies (CCIT) at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is also the director of The John M. Eisenberg Center for Clinical Decisions and Communications Science, the national center supported by AHRQ for translation of comparative effectiveness research findings produced by the Effective Healthcare Program into actionable products for dissemination and use by clinicians, consumers, and policymakers to support decision-­-making. Dr. Fordis’ interests focus on applying information technologies to healthcare provider and patient learning, decision making, and behavioral change
