Biography

Dr. Allison Hahr is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Molecular Medicine. She received her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Endocrinology at Northwestern where she developed a special interest in calcium and bone disorders. Dr. Hahr specializes in metabolic bone disease. She cares for patients with osteoporosis, rare bone diseases such as osteogenesis imperfecta, and calcium, phosphorus, vitamin D and parathyroid disorders. She is currently the Clinical Practice Director for Endocrinology as well as the Director of the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Program, where she sees patients and reads bone densities.
