Biography

Director of Cardiovascular Research and Invasive Cardiologist CardioSpecialists Group Ltd. Chicago Southland, Illinois, and Northwest Indiana Dr. Dinesh Kalra is an invasive cardiologist with research interests in anticoagulation, lipidology, and advanced cardiac imaging. He practices in Munster, Indiana, and is director of cardiovascular research at CardioSpecialists Group Ltd., which has offices in Chicago Southland, Illinois, and Northwest Indiana. He has lectured extensively on novel oral anticoagulants and is conducting trials on reversal agents and on the role of novel oral anticoagulants in post–coronary stent patients and venous thromboembolism. Dr. Kalra received his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he also completed his fellowship in cardiology.
