Biography

Dr. Kruser is a Pulmonologist and Critical Care Physician at Northwestern University and an attending physician in the medical intensive care unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She completed medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, followed by a residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin. She then pursued a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Northwestern University. She is also a health services and outcomes researcher with expertise in chronic critical illness, end-of-life care in the intensive care unit, and the long-term sequelae of critical illness. Dr, Kruser has a Master’s degree in Health Services and Outcomes Research from Northwestern University. Her current research focuses on improving decision making in the ICU for patients with chronic critical illness.
