Pamela Kushner, MD, FAAFP

Clinical Professor, Director, Kushner Wellness, UC Irvine Medical Center, Orange, CA

Pamela R. Kushner, MD, FAAFP, has had a private practice in Long Beach/Los Alamitos California for more than 20 years. Her practice specializes in preventive medical care for the entire patient. She is a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the University of California at Irvine. She is on the staff of UCI Medical Center and a trustee of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Kushner received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UCLA in biology. She then went on to receive her MD degree from the University of California at Irvine. As a California medical board reviewer, Dr. Kushner has helped educate family physicians on the newest medical therapies. Dr. Kushner devotes a significant portion of her time to teaching other doctors and has been a keynote speaker at the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is a past recipient of the Soroptimist international woman of the year award, the American Lung Association Clean Air Spokesperson award, Best Doctors in America for five years, and Volunteer Teacher of the year 2015 by UCI Family Medicine residents.
