Biography

Dr. Latimer was recently promoted to Medical Director of a Primary Care clinic at Lurie Childrens after working many years as a clinician-educator. She graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Human Development. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Michigan and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Chicago. Dr. Latimer's interests are providing care to underserved and marginalized patients and reproductive health in adolescents; she was successful in the implementation of Nexplanon administration for adolescent girls in a primary care setting. She is active in residents and medical students' education and has been the recipient of several Teaching awards and recognition.
