Biography

Dr. Petrini graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in 2000 and completed residency programs in Internal Medicine at Columbia University and in Psychiatry at Weill Medical College, Payne Whitney Clinic. After a fellowship in Emergency Psychiatry at Columbia he joined the Department of Psychiatry in 2007 and served as Associate Director of the Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation Service at New York Presbyterian Hospital until July 2014. He currently teaches psychiatric management to residents in the Columbia University Department of Medicine, and participates in research at the Personality Disorders Institute at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He has a private practice in psychiatry in New York City.
