Biography
Dr. Nalini Ram is an educator at Baylor college of Medicine (BCM). Dr. Ram practices at the Harris Health System, an affiliate of BCM, caring for patients without access to care. Dr. Ram is the Medical Director of the Endocrine Service at Ben Taub and BCM affiliated ambulatory clinics of Harris Health System since 2017. She initiated the Endocrine E-consults at the Harris Health System and teaches fellows, residents, and medical students in the inpatient and outpatient clinical setting. She was the Course Director of the Medical Student Year 2 Term 2 Endocrine Course from 2009-2020, and is presently involved in the medical school curriculum renewal process. Dr. Ram is involved in research projects in ketosis prone diabetes and atypical diabetes.
