Biography

My role at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center has centered around two domains: 1) expansion of access to nephrology care through video telehealth and 2) critical care nephrology. As the Director of Critical Care Nephrology, I manage our intensive care unit kidney replacement therapy strategies and equipment, with particular attention paid to the challenging task of drug dosing. Having initiated our video telehealth program, my clinical efforts have been key to expanding our reach to Veterans who are limited in their ability to travel to Houston.
