Biography

Alan A. Wartenberg, M.D., FACP, FASAM is Medical Director of the Addiction Recovery Program at Faulkner Hospital in Boston, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University. He has interests in medical complications of addiction, detoxification and addiction psychopharmacology. He has published several book chapters, reviews and original research in this area, and has a particular interest in opioids.
