Biography

Dr. Wyatt is an Associate Professor of Behavioral Sciences at Rush Medical College and the Director of the Sleep Disorders Service and Research Center at Rush University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Sleep Research Society. His major research interests concern the pathophysiology and treatment of sleep disorders. Over the past 20 years, he has led or participated on research teams on basic science and/or clinical trials in patients with obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, delayed sleep phase disorder, and shift work sleep disorder. Funding agencies have included NIH, NASA, and the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the American Sleep Medicine Foundation, and industry. As board-certified specialist in clinical sleep disorders, he has expertise in the diagnosis and management of all sleep disorders.
