Biography

Dr. Yamauchi is a dermatologist and practices at the Dermatology Institute & Skin Care Center and Clinical Science Institute in Santa Monica, California. He is a clinical professor of dermatology in the Division of Dermatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where he completed his residency in dermatology. Dr. Yamauchi conducts numerous clinical research trials at the Clinical Science Institute in Santa Monica and is recognized as a key opinion leader in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and other inflammatory skin conditions. He serves on the editorial board of various journals and on several task force committees for the American Academy of Dermatology. He previously served on the Medical Board for the National Psoriasis Foundation and on the Scientific Advisory Council for the National Eczema Association. He is the author of more than 120 publications in peer reviewed journals and several books. Dr. Yamauchi has been the recipient of many top awards including just recently Newsweek Magazine’s Best Medical Dermatologists.
