Curriculum
Spotlight on Pneumococcal Disease Prevention: Implementing Current Recommendations
This curriculum offers two engaging Clinical Coffee Break activities with expert faculty discussion to deepen understanding of pneumococcal disease prevention. Clinicians will examine the risks of invasive and non-invasive pneumococcal disease in various adult populations, including those with chronic conditions, and explore the broader public health impact of prevention. Additionally, the curriculum provides a clear summary of ACIP vaccine recommendations, helping providers implement age- and condition-specific guidelines effectively in clinical practice.
