This presentation will provide an overview of travel medicine through a case-based discussion on health considerations for travelers to South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Key topics will include malaria prophylaxis based on regional risk patterns, Yellow Fever vaccine indications and contraindications, and strategies for addressing other common travel health concerns such as food and water safety, insect-borne diseases, and altitude sickness. Practical advice on pre-travel consultations will also be discussed. Attendees will gain actionable insights to better counsel patients planning international travel to these diverse regions.
