Human Trafficking 101: A Healthcare PrimerThis session was recorded at the Pri-Med Southwest Annual Conference

In this lecture, audience members will understand a public health approach to addressing and responding to human trafficking in the healthcare setting. A socio ecological model of vulnerabilities will be explored. Mental health and physical health impacts of trauma will be discussed. A trauma informed approach to meeting the biopsychosocial needs of labor and sex trafficked patients will be discussed.
