Urine Trouble: Nephrology Cases for the PCPThis session was recorded at the Pri-Med Southwest Annual Conference
Urine Trouble: Nephrology Cases for the PCP is a case-based lecture aimed at helping clinicians better care for patients with kidney disease. This presentation will review the stages and diagnosis of CKD and highlight important conditions and medical management to help hopefully slow the progression of CKD. By the end of the presentations, audience members should feel comfortable when to refer a patient to a nephrologist and how to start initial evaluation and begin initial treatment as needed. We will also review a collaborative approach for primary care providers and nephrologists to help better care for our patients with End Stage Kidney Disease on renal replacement therapies.
