John Chan, MD is the Chair, California Pacific Medical Center, Regional Director at Palo Alto Medical Foundation and Lead Principal Investigator at Sutter Cancer Research Consortium. Dr. Chan attended University of California (UC) at Los Angeles, School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and subsequent fellowship in gynecologic oncology at UC, Irvine. Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Chan also has subspecialty certification in Gynecologic Oncology. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor with the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at UC, San Francisco and retains this academic appointment at Stanford University School of Medicine and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Chan is an international speaker on topics relating to gynecologic cancer and women's health. He has been published and is an ad hoc reviewer for an extensive number of peer reviewed scientific journals.
