This session will approach three challenging areas of infectious disease that the primary care clinician faces on a regular basis: sexually transmitted infections, vaccination, and hepatitis. In the past few years, there has been a tremendous rise in the incidence of sexually transmitted infections. Faculty will update the audience on recent developments in the management of patients with sexually transmitted infections. Also continually updated, are the guidelines on adult vaccination. This session will provide updates on the adult vaccination schedule. Lastly, faculty will discuss the epidemiology of viral hepatitis.
