Understanding the data around transgender and gender diverse youth can be confusing. This course will address some of the common questions around gender affirming care utilizing current research data and case examples. Will also include time for audience Q&A on the topic.

• Describe at least 3 mental health conditions disproportionately affecting transgender youth
• Name at least one mental health benefit of gender affirming care in the medical literature
• Identify at least one effect of gender affirming care bans on mental health
