Biography

Dr. Basher Atiquzzaman, known as Dr. Atiq, has served Central Florida for over two decades as a leading gastroenterologist. He is the Director of the Digestive and Liver Center of Florida and Site Director of the University of Central Florida’s Gastroenterology Fellowship Program. Actively engaged in clinical research, he has served as principal investigator for numerous medications and biomedical devices. Dr. Atiquzzaman has published in peer-reviewed journals, contributed textbook chapters, and serves as faculty at UCF College of Medicine.
