Biography

Dr. Patrick Cambier, is a board-certified expert in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology with 20+ years serving the Tampa Bay community. He joins us from Interventional Cardiology Consultants. Dr Cambier has directed the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Mease Hospital, and previously served as managing partner of the Heart and Vascular Institute of Florida. Dr. Cambier earned his M.D. from Hahnemann University and completed Internal Medicine and Cardiology training as a U.S. Army officer at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He later led the Cardiac Laboratories at Madigan Army Medical Center, where he gained advanced training in peripheral vascular angiography and intervention. He actively participates in clinical research, presented at the ACC and AHA, consulted on biomedical device development, and served as adjunct faculty at USUHS, the University of Washington, and USF and is Assistant Training Director of the Cardiology Fellowship program at Medical Center of Trinity, USF. A Fellow of the AHA, ACC, and SCAI, he’s active in community education and media.
