Biography
Melanie Kiener is an infectious diseases doctor at Baylor College of Medicine, practicing in the Harris Health System. She attended medical school at Emory University, completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Washington, and most recently graduated from infectious diseases fellowship at Stanford University in 2024. Her clinical interests include HIV medicine and orthopedic infections. She also works on a research project to understand the epidemiology of respiratory infections in hospitalized patients. Melanie is relatively new to the Houston area and in her spare time enjoys running, trying new coffee shops and exploring the local parks with her family.
