Biography

Daniel Kozman, MD, MPH is a primary care physician and associate clinical professor based out of UCLA Health, practicing in downtown Los Angeles. He maintains board certifications in internal medicine, pediatrics, and preventive medicine. His clinical interests include primary preventive and urgent care for all ages, global health, medical education, and health equity. He has held various undergraduate and graduate medical education leadership roles over the years, and he currently serves as Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Throughout these roles, Dr. Kozman has worked to equip trainees and faculty with the opportunities, resources, and skills needed to care for underserved populations in the LA community and abroad. He also serves as the Director of Health Equity Partnerships for the UCLA Department of Medicine to increase access to timely, high-quality primary and specialty care in regions with critical health professional shortages.
