Biography

Dr. Lisa Larkin, MD, FACP, MSCP, IF, is a board-certified internist and nationally recognized expert in women's health who has been practicing in Cincinnati, Ohio, since 1991. A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine (AOA, Class of 1988), she completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago, and holds a Bachelor of Science from Skidmore College, where she graduated summa cum laude. Earlier in her career, she served as Associate Professor and Division Director of Midlife Women's Health and Primary Care at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and as Director of the UC Health Women's Center. In 2016, she founded Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati - a groundbreaking multispecialty internal medicine and women's health practice that has grown to three locations and a dedicated team of ten providers. She is also the Founder and CEO of Ms.Medicine, a national women's health company committed to advancing high-quality, evidence-based women's healthcare, and the Founder of HERmedicine, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women's health through trusted education, collaboration, and community. A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Menopause Society Certified Clinician (MSCP), and a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health, Dr. Larkin has served on The Menopause Society Board of Trustees since 2018, holding roles as Treasurer, Scientific Program Chair, and President. A prolific speaker, educator, and author, she has been recognized annually as one of Cincinnati's "Top Docs" every year since 1991. As a breast cancer survivor herself, she brings deep personal conviction to her mission of raising the standard of care for women, with particular expertise in menopause management, sexual medicine, and breast cancer risk assessment and prevention.
