Biography

Allan Phan is a board-certified vascular neurologist practicing at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center and Ronald Reagan-UCLA Medical Center. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Stanford University studying biology with a focus in neurobiology, then went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. After completing a preliminary intern year at UC Irvine, he then came to UCLA for neurology residency, followed by 1 year of fellowship training in Vascular Neurology at Stanford University. He now serves as Stroke Program director at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center and also holds a role as co-director of the UCLA Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program. He is passionate about medical education and QI/QA initiatives to enhance workflows and improve the quality of stroke care within the hospital.
