Biography

Dr. Poppers is the Professor of Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Director of GI Quality and Strategic Initiatives at NYU Langone Health.  He serves on the Quality Improvement Committee and the Institutional Review Board Committee, among other roles at NYU, as well as serving on national committees for the American Society for GI Endoscopy.  Dr. Poppers is particularly interested in enhancing quality in healthcare delivery, and in evaluating and utilizing novel diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
