Affiliations Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Vice President, Heart Rhythm Society Biography Jag Singh, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist and the former Clinical Chief of the Cardiology Division and the Roman DeSanctis Endowed Chair in Cardiology at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Singh completed his internal medicine residency, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at Mass General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. He also earned a doctorate from Oxford University, a Master of Science in clinical investigation from MIT and a research fellowship at the Framingham Heart Study. He also completed the executive program in Artificial Intelligence from the Sloane school at MIT, Boston. Dr. Singh has over 475 peer reviewed publications and has given over 800 invited lectures at national and international conferences. He is the former Deputy Editor of the Journal of American College of Cardiology: Clinical EP and Editor-in-chief of the Current Treatment Options in Cardiovascular Medicine. He has made several media appearances, participated in podcast interviews, and has had his work presented on ABC, GMA, Fox, PBS, NPR, etc. He has been invited to give several keynote lectures, including those to the US Defence Health Agency, National Joint Commission, American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm society, French Cardiac Society, Afya forum (Brazil), American Association of Colleges of Nursing, National Academy of Medical Engineers, and at South by Southwest. Dr. Singh is the national & global principal investigator on several multi-center clinical trials in device therapy, sensor strategies and artificial intelligence for heart failure and atrial fibrillation. He is on the medical and corporate advisory board of several multi-national organizations and digital Startups. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Heart Rhythm Society. Much of his current efforts are focused on healthcare redesign, digital health, and medical device innovations. He is the author of the national bestseller ‘Future Care: Sensors, Artificial Intelligence, and the Reinvention of Medicine.’
