Biography

Kel Smith has thirty years of experience in the product and technology sectors. His background includes stints at Google, Johnson & Johnson, Wiley, and Havas Worldwide Health. Before joining Pri-Med, Kel developed and commercialized new offerings in consumer medicine, healthcare informatics, and workplace culture. Kel has delivered over 100 presentations in six countries, including talks for the Centre for Health Literacy, the Royal National Institute of the Blind, SXSW, and Stanford University. His work has been featured on CBC Radio's “The Current,” National Public Radio, and the BBC. An adjunct lecturer at Rutgers University, Kel is the author of the book Digital Outcasts: Moving Technology Forward Without Leaving People Behind, now in its second edition, and several published articles on product innovation.
