Overview

CBCs are ordered for a variety of clinical indications, for example if there is a concern for anemia. The official results often come back with incidental abnormalities ‘flagged’ that may not relate to the clinical concern – yet need to be addressed. This case-based presentation will touch upon common abnormalities, with advice on the best approach for following-up.
