Overview

Learning through understanding is a key principle of this lecture series. In this lecture, we will talk about why SGLT2 inhibitors are so useful in kidney disease, how GLP-1 RAs can help in diabetes, weight, and fatty liver disease, and how COVID was able to cause so many complications within the body. By understanding how these things happen, the information will stick with us so it can be used to help patients on a daily basis. We will also talk about a few quick tips for assessing CKD, COPD, and dementia. Hopefully, all of these things will make seeing patients a bit easier for our primary care clinicians.
