Overview
This session, An Ounce of Prevention: Evidence-Based Review of Diet & Exercise, will explore the critical role of lifestyle interventions in the prevention and management of chronic diseases commonly encountered in primary care. Participants will review current evidence-based guidelines for diet and physical activity, including practical recommendations for implementation. The presentation will highlight, via case-based examples, how to integrate preventative approaches into routine visits to improve patient outcomes and overall population health.
